Do I need to wrap my air conditioner over the winter?
NO! Air conditioners that are wrapped with plastic coverings trap all the moisture inside and will cause the parts to rust prematurely. A/C’s are made for the outdoors, to protect just put a piece of plywood on top with a brick to hold it preventing anything from falling in such as leaves.
What brands are best and worst?
Quality varies as we all know with everything we buy. The brands we install are based on hands on use function and trial and error. In other words in all the brands we’ve installed we find these to be the most inexpensive, durable, and trusted among other contractors.
How would I determine efficiency?
80% efficient furnaces are more affordable and do the basic job but stepping up to a 90% efficient will cut costs for you dramatically!
How long does a new furnace last?
