Ducting/Sheet metal work:
Simply put what this means is… If you have an unfinished duct project or maybe something you feel could be possibly undersized or damaged or even just in the way and you want it rerouted, then were the people to call. We don’t just deal with installing a furnace and leaving the duct as is ..etc.. we will access any duct changes that might be appropriate, needed or simply might just look better to accommodate your living and comfort needs. ..
Example: We had a client once who was on the rather tall side with a low clearance basement and wanted to know if we could possibly raise or move some ducts so the man didn’t have to slouch or bang his head every time he went down to do laundry. Well some things you just can’t change due to airflow requirements but we accommodated him as much as possible. So instead of knocking himself out cold every time, now he’s able to move around a lot more freely without fear of what’s lurking above.
Or maybe someone had a relative fix a collapsed duct and they used half a roll of tape on it to secure it? No problem these are what we call a ‘quick fix’, we can happily take care of sagging ducts or ones with holes in them or take care of rattling or “BANGING” ducts.
Sheet metal work is along the same lines, but maybe one needs just some patching from a hole that was previously unnoticed, or some whistling from improperly installed ducts? Whatever the case we can put a professional band aid on it or replace the eyesore or bothersome metal work.
Although keep in mind that the duct work and or sheet metal must be accessible.. i.e.. if it is behind a finished surface such as drywall, that drywall must be removed in order to get hands on it which is totally necessary.
